We are so glad you stopped by our website.  As women, we have a unique place in the body of Christ.  God has ordained for us to accomplish wonderful things that only we can do.  There are works of service only we can perform and people only we can touch.  We also have needs that can be met only by coming together in the humility and love of Jesus Christ to serve Him and one another. 

In the months ahead we will be seeking direction for the Women's ministry, and we ask you to pray along with us.  May you be comforted by His amazing grace.  We encourage you to seek Him with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. 

On May 9th, we had an awesome Mother & Daughter Night.  Janice Scruton (mom) and Courtney Peregrine (daughter) kept us in hysterics with their tales of surviving the baby, toddler, pre-teen and teen years together. What a wonderful mother and daughter relationship they have enjoyed through the growing up years.  And, even after Courtney's recent marriage, their bond is even greater.  They passionately told us how the Lord directed their lives as a family.  They have shown us a wonderful and fine example of a Christ-led family.  We had a packed out evening.  This event is held yearly just after Mother's Day...so keep this noted on next year's calendar

Saturday, June 11th, we had a well attended Spa Saturday at Wanda Gibson's home. It was a  day where the ladies relaxed, walked, were treated to 'spa treatment' as well as receiving from the Lord. 

We have a wonderful evening Nov. 24 planned--our special Christmas evening.  We will have several stations set up where we can learn a Christmas craft, how to bake that special Christmas dainty, how to make a 'hostess' gift, and more.

In the new year, Jan. 2012, we will have our annual Ladies Winter Tea. Special speaker will be Susan Wells who is an exciting communicator and will delight us with her humour, insight and most of all about a relationship with Jesus.  She is gifted in home decor & teaches, mentors and has a decorating business, being a sought after consultant in this field.

Other things we are establishing in the new year, will be a ladies bible study geared to women and a quilting night--quilts to be given to a needy community group. When we finalize these activities, watch for the announcements & mark them on your calendars ladies!!
