Welcome to Deaf at Glad!

Welcome to our Sunday morning church service here at
Glad Tidings Church (GTC).   Each Sunday at 10 am we gather, with other Believers to enjoy wonderful fellowship, Worship and the Pastor's teaching from the Word of God, interpreted to ASL.
Hearing and Deaf join together with volunteer (non-professional) interpreters.  
Music, worship, testimonies and sermon are presented in ASL (American Sign Language).

We've moved again!!!   Hi, we're Vicky and Wendy the volunteer interpreters here at Glad, recently our Deaf section moved to the right side of the church in front of the windows, we have a great view!  
If you are Hard of Hearing and would like to use an Assistant Hearing Amplifier, let us know, we'll provide a unit for use during the morning service.    Join us this Sunday... see you there!

Other Deaf Activities

This is the first year for Deaf led Sunday school.   Immediately after the Sunday morning service, pick up a coffee and sweet thing and join us in room 121.

Do You have questions about the living the "Christian Life"?

Sunday School, Starting again September 2011; This new series may be just what you need; "13 Lessons in Christian Doctrine".   This program features two deaf men sharing with each other truths from the Bible.  
Topics include: God, Jesus the Christ, the Bible, the Church, Faith, Repentance, Baptism, the Lord's Supper, Prayer and many more.   Each lesson is presented in American Sign Language with a study guide to help you follow along.  Voice-over for our hearing friends.

Let's Link with Jesus!

Now, we can "Link" with Jesus, this solid Bible teaching in ASL will bless your week!   Skilled and experienced preachers present a series of messages on a particular Bible passage or theme through DVD.   Come and join us Sunday mornings following the 10: am Church service.  
This is an adult Sunday School program and will be alternately led each month by a Deaf or Hearing Teacher.   This class is presented in American Sign Language with voice over on the DVD.  
Refreshments are available before class in the cafe.
