I recently read an article entitled, "Is God In The Church Nursery?" Funny how we don't think about that. The answer without a doubt is yes.

Mark 9:36-37 And Jesus took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them " Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me , receives not me but him who sent me."

At Glad Tidings we take all areas of ministry to the family seriously. Every Sunday morning during the service as well as during the Christian Education Hour we have one of our Sonrise Preschool staff, Debbie Walsh in our nursery along with volunteers. Debbie not only brings her experience from the preschool but has been active in ministry for many years with children as a Pastor's wife. We truly are blessed to have her as part of our team.  If you have a child ages 0-2 we welcome you to our nursery with your little ones. As well, if you are a nursing mom or need a quiet spot with your infant please inquire in the nursery and you will be directed to the infant room. The evening service as well has volunteers ready to receive your child and allow you to be ministered to in the adult service. Tuesday evenings nursery care is provided during Home Builders which is a wonderful place to get connected to other young families in our church.

This is what you can expect on a Sunday morning

• You will be greeted by Debbie Walsh and her assistants in the nursery.
• Each parent will be signed in with their child and given a pager to bring in the service to be paged if they are needed.
• Snacks will be provided in the nursery and you will need to inform Debbie if there are any health issues or allergies your child may have.
• Debbie will be the only one to change your child's diaper according to the regulations we have in place for our nursery.
• All of our toys are regularly cleaned as this is a shared facility with our Daycare.
• Your child will receive excellent care from our dedicated workers.
